Nuqta App
Nuqta is a user-generated mobile museum of Arabic calligraphy and typography and is a not-for-profit app and web project co-founded by Soraya Syed (Art of the Pen) and developed by London-based agency Inspiral Design.
Nuqta is a collaborative, mobile and web app, which invites the public to post images of Arabic calligraphy and typography as they experience it anywhere, and on anything.
The project aspires to benefit anyone anywhere in the world with a love for Arabic typography and calligraphy. It is a long-term project that plans to evolve and advance largely based on user feedback. Visit nuqta.com to see the website.

Nuqta Merchandise
Nuqta launched in London at the Edge of Arabia gallery which led to the production of various merchandise.

London Launch of Nuqta at Edge of Arabia
Footage taken from the London launch of Nuqta as part of the Shubbak Festival in June 2013. Following a guide handed to them, guests were invited to remove a sticky dot which over time made up the key words behind the Nuqta app and web project: Learn, Share, Educate. The words are revealed in a style of script generally known as Square Kufic.
